I didn't know that it fit the Maxima... my friend just put that on his G coupe and it's incredible. Rumor has it the 10hp number is actually conservative...

I don't know exactly what the gains were on his... the car has a ton of **** on it that it came with (he traded in his stock G for this one).

i thought he was trying a spacer that would fit the throttle body not the intake spacer! and he said he was'nt sure if it would fit the one he bought cuz it did not say it was meant for the maxima but this spacer obviously is meant for the maxima so yes i believe it will fit!

Tek correct me if i'm wrong, but i don't think i am

maybe, his was a different brand idk, but what i thought was wierd is tek kept saying he did'nt know it would fit and i doubt he woulda said that if the product description said it would, so i think that maybe he got one from a different company maybe designed for a 3.0 not 3.5, who knows we just gotta get tek in here!

Yes there is an MRev product very similar for the G35. I was told that it would not work for the Maxima.

don't even bother with that, they claim is for all the vq35's, but is not, they are only for the RWD VQ's not ours...

yes I tried that..

The intake opening would be 90 degree off. The MAX engine is sideways....

is not the engine that this spacer goes on, but in between the intake itself. we don't have an intake of that shape, the z and g do...

that spacer goes to in between this intake:

unless you get that intake put on your 6thgen it won't fit at all, that spacer is huge!! it just looks small on that pic..

Rats, looks like an easy mod with some decent gains... Anyone call and ask them if they will or are going to make one for an 04 and above Maxima???

I wouldn't think that mod would really lead to any significant gains myself.

this mod gives the Z more hp than a aftermarket intake manifold itself, look around google for the results, you will see...

but this is for the Z and G only..

Yeah, my friend actually has a Motordyne on his instead of this one, and he says on average the Gs are seeing 15-20hp gains out of it.

He's got a ton of **** in his car though... Vortech, Kinetix cats, Injen intake and exhausts. Last time the car was on the dyno it showed 366 at the wheels. Pisses me off all the stuff that's available for the RWD cars, especially in the forced induction side...
