don't you mean 06 owners

I love my amber display. I see song and station titles, and a lot more info. too many complaints seemed to have had their affect. One day I may upgrade to white, but amber is good for me.

Only if I see RSA will I be at all dissappointed with this 6.5

Not too shabby, hard to tell based on that pic though.

I agree that those SL rims got worse.

I notice the SE rear bumper is different to the SL and the transmission it's a Xtronic CVT with 6-speed manual shift mode.

How can you tell about the CVT?

I also noticed the redline is lower... isn't it 6600 with the 04-06's? Looks like it's 6200 with the 07's. Also, looks like they finally added MP3 CD.

EDIT: Edited because I couldn't read the tach correctly...

Looks like the rear tails maybe LED's. I like the black strip on the lower portion of the rear bumper. Looks like they dropped the front cornering lights. I bet the horsepower will be 275 to surpass the Toyota Avalon and stay slightly below the M35's 280.

You people must be blind to not like that new front end with the lines that pull into the hood, those headlights look very Mercedes CLS...I actually dont like the seats bc the leather isnt perforated. All in all I think they aced the exterior..though the far shots looks kinda crappy. We will be seeing pics from the ny autoshow too right?

that interior is crazy...just what the car needed. I just really hope this CVT thing isnt really the only available transmission choice...because everyday I run locates on the 07 and everyday it still says cvt.

I see that you will post the same post twice.

And, have you purchased your first car yet? Cross that bridge when you get to it.

I definitely think it's an upgrade from the 6th gens...the front looks WAY better and more aggressive...i don't even mind the grill (unlike most people)...the only things i see on it that i don't like are the SL wheels (i wouldn't get an SL anyway) and that stupid lip thing that goes over the gauges....looks like the redline has been taken down to 6250...could that mean that it's going to get the VQ37?

EDIT: oh yeah, and the seats look freaking awesome...just like the M45's...

Because it is common knowledge by now (or should be) that the only available transmission is the CVT.

I have read it numerous places in different automotive forums.

Or we could just wait for the official release of pics and specs.

Guaranteed - no more 3 pedal Maximas.

BTW nice Altima

Ok, we've all read that it's going to be a CVT... but just didn't know if someone had some proof from these pics that it was a CVT that was offered?

well, starting from the pics at the top of the thread i was first wowed by the beauty of the over the top view and nice front bumper, then the rear was great too with a real spoiler. But then, i was almost for sure i was going to trade in when i saw the interior pics. I love the inside of this thing, it kinda went back to the 5.5 gen insides, which i loved. But then came the full side view not too impressive. I hope those arnt the wheels they want to use on the SL? I hate the grill, only things i like are the front lights spoiler and front bumper on the outside of the car. Now after looking at the pics on the third page of the SE i presume, i like the exterior alot more now but those rear light altima wanna bees are fugly. Overall i think they did ok, but i will prob wait for the 7th gen or just go to Infiniti and put my name on the GTR list, im still not married HEHE!

Nissan doesn't give these info away. These forums are only speculations. We'll wait and see in a few days.

The rims are ugly. But I like the interior. But you can't put a new body on and don't fix all the problems. SHIMMY! MOONROOF LEAKS! RSA's are horrible tires.

Nice...I really like what Nissan has done with the interior, especially the cluster and nav. I'm not a fan of the woodgrain, but the "titanium" trim looks hot! The rims kinda suck, but I guess they can be upgraded.
