Cheapest way to fix the rattling problem, turn the volume up on the radio. Works for me.

I dont know about your rattling but driving in a parking lot around people in this nice *** car, and then all the sudden a tin can with rocks in it rattling like its a 1990 honda accord is not cool. A must to get fixed.

My '04SE is almost 2 year old and 33Kmiles. Just the other day (for the 1st time) I stepped on the gas when the light turned yellow (~50MPH). There was a hissing rattling sound , pretty loud, for a second 'till I left off the gas. I've tried so hard to duplicate the problem but can't. Today, while crusing ~20MPH, I heard a hissing rattling sound (very soft) from behind the dash when I stepped on the gas. Of course, I have tried so hard to duplicate again and fail so far. I could be a heat shield (I got the same problem w/ my '97GLE starting ~80Kmiles). But it also sound like a air rushing sound. I don't think I can show the dealer the problem. I hate this 'cause I know it's there and it will be back. And it will be worst when the warranty is out. Damn ?@!!@$
