I was wondering if any other 6-speed owners have a howling coming from thier transmission? Mine is fairly loud, in all gears you can hear it and feel it. Any insight? Thanks guys.

 

had it at 11000 miles.......transmission replaced............. they said it was a endplay issue....

 

Really? End play huh. Well if that's what they said. It dosen't look to me like you believe(d) them! You are a smart person! Was yours excessively loud? Did they say why they couldn't fix it? Thanks for your help....it's just another nail in Nissan's coffin on my buyback effort.

 

yea, mine was extremely loud, bad enough whe I went in to get it checked they ordered a trans with a 2 minute test drive..... they tried to blame the vibration in my car on the trans problem........NOT I believe that they just tried to replace it and get it checked out as mine had/has a vibration and thought that it would provide an answer for them.
