I'm pretty surprised and impressed by how your interior turned out, but something im curious about; were the back seats reupholstered? looks like the rear center console did but the coloration of the leather doesn't seem to match; is that just the flash on the cam??

Also, you prolly shoulda got the second amp. i 2 had Eclipse 8800-series 12s (6-ohm) and i was running 900w RMS to them (MTX 2300x with 2ga goin straight to it) and i STILL was barely making them sweat. I really like alot of what you did with your ride, but the trunk seems. . .i dunno, not nearly as sharp as the rest. . . just my .02cents, but on the show and me, just like everyone else, would love to see an .org'er bring back a prize

Are those 20's or 22's? I haven't been on here too much lately; can 22's fit with a slight drop from like Eibachs?

Also, I thought I had posted on this thread before but now i can't find it, I wanted to ask if there was any particular reason why you went with Eclipse instead of going straight to the source with TC now that they are selling direct?

Didn't win.... --- didn't help the judge who looked at my car started with..."Nice Altima" ---- however if it was up to the public I would have won the whole show...100's and 100's of people swarmed this car throughout the day...I met so many people it was incredible ---- I felt like a complete celebrity from all the love I got from the attendee's....mad love for the max out their, just not from judges -----

and multiple magazine's and publications took photo's of my car along with cbs news in boston, for those of you who live up their....when I say I had the most attention out of everyone...I'm not exaggerting...people went bollistic over the car...I don't fully understand how I didn't win, but one judge looked at the car and that was it...so I guess he saw what he saw and he when I tried to talk to him when he was looking it over he told me he can see what I've done no need to tell him....same guy who thought he was looking at an altima...but hey its all good....I had a great time...

I also took a Pi** next to DMC --- that was cool...walked into the bathroom they had for us and saw the security guard standing there by the sink walked over and wala DMC...said whats up bro --- security guard told me not to talk to him...and DMC promptly told him to shut up and said whats up...BS'd for a few seconds...was cool...all in all had a great time and introduced alot of people to maxima.....

Gec, YOU DID WIN.

Its all about the public and winning the respect of those who are in the same boat as u are. That tard that looked at your car and said nice alti should not have even been judging in my opinion.

Your car is as kick azz as they can get. You kept your car Maxima factory style with all the class that need to make this car great.

All i can say is thank you for representing Maxima's all over the world, because if you break it down thats what you did.

hahahahhaa --- I'm not surprised..their camera man was around my car a couple times throughout the day....You should e-mail them back and ask "Why "arguably" one of the rarest cars if not the rarest car in your show didn't win anything?? but yet you'll post photos of it on your website...hmmm...Thank you for all the support Majestic

Jsmith you have an angle to work. Style with practical use. I guess as a father myself I would be the only one buying that. Becasue based on Kenny's encounter they want stuff to be without class and over the top unusable.

put completely rah. i doubt most of those cars were even driven in cause of the tristate potholes. yo i bet you after the show they never even touch the cars...buh chances are that gec freakin drove his in nd out.

anyways they probably didn't even put a lick a work into the cars. not lik gec.

Update: Funk Master Flex Show

What a great weekend at this show...I had an absolute blast... I didn't win the Nissan Class, but I also didn't deserve too. A yellow Z that was done up won, however the judge who originally looked at my car (who owns a Z and will be coming to see me for an LED upgrade...lol) brought all the judges over to see the max....All were very impressed with what we did...so they had a debate on whether they should give it to me or the yellow Z --- end of the day it went to him, but the Car I lost to the weekend before at the Dub show was their, so I posed the question to the judge if he was in contention..answer NO -- between you and the yellow one...HA -- Thanks DUB judges...lol...

Anyway --- it was awesome...the judges asked if we would mind being in Stock & Custom Magazine ----ummm yeah!!!!!!!!!!!! so they took my number down and we'll see what happens...

Big Thanks to Tekniq who came down and spent the whole day helping us out...thank you Bro ---

Here are some pics of the day

That sucks, Drivers Image is right around here, its not ideal comparing a shop car to what one man has done. If it were me my vote it would have gone to the Maxima.

They gave it to Big Bird!? That's one of the ugliest Z's I've ever seen. Sure, it's got more fiberglass work, but it doesn't matter if it's ugly. What ever happened to good taste.

Hey thanks everyone for the support and the nice comments --- gonna go back to the drawing board over the winter. I am going to focus on becoming a distributor of aftermarket custom parts and hopefully back my bro - inlaw on a shop in our area.

Smoked Out --- we made that grille from the oem one. Kenny

Kenny the car is looking hot. Its so clean and shiny. You were totally ripped off by that a**hole judge. There will be more shows and and as you said its the ppl who give you good remarks on your ride that counts. I enjoy that also.
One thing please don't put decals all over your hot ride. Keep up the good work and good luck in your new business.
