Looking for real brushed aluminum dash inserts

I was looking around for some inserts for the dash on my Max, but I'm thinking those vinyl inserts will never look like the factory installed inserts. I checked some on ebay, and the vendor swears they are brushed aluminum colored and that they match the factory ones....but I don't believe it. Do you know of a kit that uses real, thick aluminum pieces???

I've gone through every damn piece of vinyl brushed aluminum there is and nothing matches...one was close, but not close enough...however, i do have the exact match brushed aluminum that i got from a sign company but its thin like the stuff in our cars...

I too was looking for a match but yeah couldn't find anything close, and most of it was pricey. I bought a kit off ebay and it doesn't match but it does look good. I have pics on my cardomain page.

Hey the installation looks perfect!! However I think they look a little too glossy for my taste. Do you have a link from the guy that sold them to you? Is he the same that says his kit is made of "real" brushed aluminum?? Are they vinyls??

Also, I saw the page for mimousa.com, and they show that the simulated aluminum is thicker than real aluminum... http://www.mimousa.com/info/alumdash.htm

These pieces are glossy, but they were thick too. 3M tape and its just peel and stick, or restick if you mess up. Which we did. My only regret is we started at the top not the shifter spot so that piece wasn't really fitting right. Let me see if i can find the link or at least the members name.

The item link doesn't work and the guy i bought it from doesn't have any items for sale right now.
