http://www.watsonsglen.com/Kam/Maxima/Nismo/index.htm

DAMN!!! Thease things stop this car like a 1000^2 ton granite ROCK......

Damn stock 18" dont clear the caliper by like 5mm Oh well the new Nismos Are a perfect fit.

OE 19" Nismo perfect fit.
OE 18" fit with 6mm spacer.
OE 17" dont fit as the balance weight hits caliper, but they have enough side clearance.

Here are some dry preview pics to get ya'll drooling.

I will get some spacers tommorow until the new rubber arrives and install the new toys on my baby.

Oohhh yeah!! The kit costs $1350 + Shipping ............But IF YOU ORDER THROUGH
Brian Hasty - sales@fastbrakes.com and say who you are and that the first 2005 6th Gen owner highly recommended fastbrakes you get them at the intro price of $1250. A $100 off isnt too bad!

Ok I'm very excited to get thease installed.

Take Care Guys,

Kam

That ought to look tight on your ride, man. Once you have it installed, in addition to pics, post your take on the performance difference. We'll all look forward to it.

Will they sell pads and rotors only as well? I have a Wilwood kit that's waiting to be installed when I get my wheels back on. Do you happen to know the breakdown price if bought seperately? Nice looking kit btw!

You would need to get in touch with Brian Hasty = sales@fastbrakes.com

and find out the details. Hes a super guy and I'm sure you'll get a great deal.

Peace,

I don't know what the deal is with this " Wildwood"? Why not just get a set of good cross drilled Rotors and keep the original Maxima calipers and go with Carbon Fiber brake pads or at least ceramic?

Add to that lighter weight of the 2 piece rotors and probably the calipers too. Now you have lighter rotating AND unsprung weight which improves acceleration and gas mileage.

Except his wheels are an inch bigger so that might negate all the unsprung weight. Either way the brakes and wheels should look awsome.

They are like a 1/4 of the weight of stock!!! The ROTORS weigh less that 1/2 of the stock ones. Total shipping weight was 35lbs per side, so about 17lbs per side including Caliper, Rotor, hat, adaptor bracket, and pads.

SOLID??? Frig at 1/4 of the way down your car is going tail up, at 1/2 way down the ABS kicks in, at 3/4 way down your head flies out the front windshield.

DEUS!!! Get yeers on fast man, you wont beleive the diff!!!!

No no, overexagaration..... it actually stays pretty stable, i guess that load adjusting brake system works really well.

You know what, now with the fronts on, the rears feel like they much tighter, they actually get hot now during driving, which they never did before.

I feel like they have better balance now then before.

Maybe its the ss lines, they dont expand as much and more pressure is applied to the rears.

I still have to track test them and see how they perform on the circuit......

Peace!

I was curious about bias. U say that the brakes adjust the bias according to load??

You got it, its even in the sales brochure

Its so sensitive it will even adjust the load to correspond to a tank of gas.

Who already knew this?

YUP!! its called EBD

Electronic Brake Distribution, sensor with a gyro detects car load and adjusts the brakes accordingly.

http://www.nissanusa.com/maxima/specifications.html

HOW THE INSANITY OF THIS $hit works.
It comes even on the most standard maxima.

I am upgrading the rears, but only rotors, pads, sslines for now.

Peace bro,

Kam

Man, that is awesome.

I did have a question though - and it's probably a noob one, but are the rotors backwards?
