Does anyone have 10 grand+ to spend on a custom Turbo kit?

I just spoke with Noah at Altered Atmospere in Gaithersburg, MD http://www.alteredatmosphere.com and said that anything can be done on our cars, turbocharger or supercharger, it would be a custom kit starting at around 10k+, but it can be done.

If you go to their website you'll see they have done alot of work with 350Z/G35's. Time for a 401K loan. (sike)

Ten grand is way out of line to spend on a turbo for our car. I would say $4-6 is proper.

the engine is only 5 years old..... 10 grand is what you will find from most companies..... but I would deffinitly keep shopping..... if redline is willing to work with someone..... damn it you east coast money bags jump on it..... let's get one made for this damn car...... we are litterally behind the POWER curve..... **** Ford is coming out with a car that can keep up with us for under 20k and looks clean too..... let's get ahead of the power curve......

Yeah the $ is going into custom fabrication, no doubt. Their Greedy TT kit for the Z is $5100, and the Vortech SC is under $5k, so you know that they'er just gonna grab some parts off something like that and start customizing it.

Problem is labor on installation and custom piping and what-not... but still, $10k is a ridiculous amount of money to spend on these cars for forced induction.

my friend has the greddy tt kit for the 350z
entire car is greddy even his oil (which is light clear blue!)
his mpg is like 7 tho. LOL
i would pay 5g for a turbo.
but can you install a turbo for a auto SL?
if so is it worth it for me to put a turbo?

ah also theres a guy in NYC on craigslist.org
that will put a turbo on a car for i think 1500
he said its mainly all pipes with the turbo and intercooler which you provide
forgot who. he was a metal welder and needs the extra cash because welding doesnt pay his bills. lol
