What does our 04' Maxima have, Struts or Shocks

I need to do get new shocks/struts, whichever ones we have. I can feel every little bump or hole I go over, very annoying

I also have a steering wheel shimmy, which hopefully will be corrected by new brakes, pads and rotors. Then get alignment done and wish that it never happens again

Yeah, so not sure which ones our cars have, and also, what are some good brands for the struts/shocks?

its covered under your waranty if its under 36k
they'll replace both for your front.
take it to your service dealer and ask them what they can do.
if you want aftermarket
id go with teins. but teins are stiff but its really good for racing and turns =]
