I change my air filter today and for some reason the engine light came on and now it wont go away, i made sure that everything is connceted but still no luck any one has any idea whats going on

 

read the "Problems" STICKY to reset it.


make sure you didn't detach any wires. if u did, maybe they are still disconnected.

Same thing happened to me awhile ago, I forgot to plug something back in. You have three options; try the SES reset (I couldnt get it to work), take it to the dealer and pay for "computer time" to reset ($80/hour), or it'll turn off by itself in about a week (my choice).
