I think somebody asked that in this thread already.....we will not be offering it chromed.

There is no diamond polished mesh option either. There is either natural aluminum diamond mesh or stainless steel woven mesh (which I guess could be conisdered diamond...and can be polished). Both will hold up just fine, it can't chip because there is nothing to chip. The woven mesh is stainless so is completely protected. The aluminum you just need to clean your car and wipe it whenever you wash your car. You'll want to take care of it in the winter when there is salt on the roads. If you got it powdercoated black, it's completely protected, and would be very very hard to ever chip since powdercoated creates such a strong bond.

Did I say diamond polished? Sorry, too many grill options floating around in my head. Yeah, the powder coated would be super tough, then if I had invisible bra on the painted parts, it might never chip.

I just don't know if the black grill would go so well with all the silver and chrome.

Thanks for the quick reply.

Silver and black looks great if you are going for a sporty look....but if you've got the chrome going, I'd go for either the woven mesh or the oval aluminum

I'm kind of curious to know what the woven mesh with black powder coat would look like on a liquid silver. Thoughts anyone?

Lol, again, the woven mesh is not available powdercoated. Only the aluminum diamond and oval hole mesh is available in powdercoated.

You're right regarding chernmax's car....it's the woven mesh, just powdercoated. We offer woven mesh, but we do not offer it powdercoated. Sorry for the confusion!

Like Dave said, the black powder coating is gonna look more sporty. I'm still a little up in the air about which way to go. I have chrome wheels so I was thinking about a shiny front grill. I I had any other color wheels I would probably picks the black powder coating.

@ daves04smoke Looks good. Did you put the badge on yourself or is that the badge option that Active offers?

I know they offer several options for the grille material. Will Active be putting up photos of the options on their website soon?

You can see all of the mesh options through any of the other grilles we offer for the Altima as they are the same (aside from the woven mesh, which has a picture on the product page).

You can see the mesh options here:

http://www.activetuning.com/products...IL/options.php

Also if you look at the images tab for the product pages on the Altima S2 and S5 Grille, we used the same mesh, so you can get a good idea of how it looks long with color combos.

How easy is it to install the ActiveTuning grille?
Also, have anyone tried installing the grill from '07 Max onto '04-06?

You can see the install instructions here:

http://www.activetuning.com/products...stallation.php

It's very easy, and shouldn't take more than 10 minutes. I don't believe the 07 will be compatible as the shape of the grille looks to be different.
