Any diff in Intake System: Max vs M35

The M35 is essentially a 6th gen Max.

Is there a difference in the intake system between
the two? The M35 spec states:

Intake System: High-flow tuned induction system
http://infinitiusa.com/m/specifications.html

I've never looked under the hood of a M35.

Why would RWD make a diff in the intake manifold?

Cuase of the way the engine fits in the bay. The RWD manifs are taller and dont fit under our hoods.

You need to venture out the 6th gen forum. This topic is quite popular as of late.

yes, new car model = new people to the maxima world... inevitable.

Look up tranverse(fwd) vs. longitudinal(rwd) motor placement.
Many differences between Nissan and Infinity... none are same between the two any more.

All other replies like "6th gen owner are so ignorant to what's going on with other gen of max." is just as ignorant.

The FM/G35 based M35 has nothing in common with the FFL/Altima based Maxima. Very few parts are (OEM and/or aftermarket) are interchangeable.

did not really mean to offence any1 here, but what i meant was that if these "new" ppl with these "new" cars looked more somewhere else i.e. all-motor forum, they would know more about their cars/engines/intakes... well, i guess they do not need to. not real maxima enthusiasts, just regular owners... i'm sorry, did i offend somebody again?
