Redline Signature Grille - Any Good? Worth it?
Okay, so ive seen lots of posts regarding the Redline Grille.
Looks great, but seems like there are major issues and adjustsments needed.
Please correct me if I am wrong on the following things i have noticed.
1. Grille doesnt cover up or fill in the bottom part where there is space for the "tooth" on the OEM grille. So theres a small space/gap left in the front.
2. There is a notch on the top center of the grille.
3. It takes a 1/4 of a year and/or longer to get the grille (3 months or longer).
This is not good.
Please provide me some evidence on why i should get this.
I was looking so forward to getting this.

From what I gather from responses on this baord, the gap was only in preproduction.
I too do not like the notch at the top. I also wish it would come painted.
Delivery always seems to be an issue, my advice would be do not start selling something until you have them in stock. A lot of people do buy them knowing it will take a while though (ie. to be first in line).

The gap is not on the grill, it's on the stock bumper. Again if they designed a "bump" on the bottom of the grill to fill it in, it would look worse IMO. The notch at the top is there because the cut out on the inside for the hood release. Without it, the grill wouldn't be as sturdy. That's why Active tuning released the S4 grill first with the "ghost" tooth to cover up that gap. The AT S4.1 comes out furthur I believe (haven't seen it in person) to cover that gap.
And with the redline bumper, the gap was removed, that's one major change that was made when I was test fitting, the first one had the gap but even with the stock bumper that gap didn't need to be there. It was just Nissan overthinking the design because my stock grill with the big 'ol tooth fit fine with the RL bumper with no gap/cutout.
Here's a pic of the first fit with the cutout:
And then a pic with the first one out of the mold with the stock grill and no cutout (fits fine)
