Crooked 1.

Well, not crooked, but offset in the "120". Anyone else notice this? Sorry to waste a thread about it, but...

Yeah...I know. I disclaimered that it was a waste. I didn't want to be the only one that it bothered though. You're welcome.

Yeah...because the 100 and the 140 are straight. Take another look.

Hey gotta kept it light on the .org. I wouldn't let it bother you, not even a little bit.

Gee, thanks. After reading this thread I had to make a run to the store and on my way noticed that the "1" in my "120" was also crooked... but not the other triple digit numbers. Thanks! Everytime I look at the speedometer now I'll think of this thread.

Another reason to get aftermarket gauge pods and of course make all the 1’s subscript. 100, 120, 140.

OK, I'm over it!

Yours or his, I like both of them!

I'm not going to look at mine.......Ok, I'll sneek out later to the garage, only to be marred for the rest of them time I own this car. I now know, when at the dealership to buy my next car, stare at the odometer until one number is offset slightly, then debate if I really do want to buy it! And to think the sticker is what I wasted my time over....

I was finally able to reach the speedo face subcontractor in Hyderabad, India. He said the number 120 was sacred, representative of the days of penance one must serve for failing to make daily attributes to Buddah.

The 'dropped 1' in the sacred number 120 is symbolic; sort of a 'polite bow', a traditional sign of cordial subserviance and religious correctness in many Asian lands.

When India begins producing vehicles for export, no matter the color of the rest of the speedo face, the dropped 1 will move to 23.3% lower than the '2' and the '0', will exude the aroma of attar of roseknee, and will always be in dayglo gold.

Simple fix, tilt your head slightly to the left and the 120 looks even.....
everything else will be crooked but you can't have everything.

My 120 is slightly off too. Thanks for drawing my attention to it.

On my speedometer the '180' and '200' are missing. I kind of got used to it but its just weird guessing your speed when you get there.

Does anyone have similar problem ????????
