i've had that happen to me before but it would happen it i would turn it on and hit set quickly,.. or acc. and reset it without holding the button down long enough.......

i don't think it's anything serious... as long as it doesn't happen again

It's probably the warning for the engagement of the self destruct sequence. It's an undocumented feature.

i've had that once or twice while goin to canada...i set mine cruise at about 85 to 90 maybe 95...on the NYS thru-way. buh when u turn your car off and on it just goes away...i just thought it was a glitch...nothing serious happened so never thought about it too much.

buh next time it happens try this...try setting your cruise again...i mean after you turn it off click set nd see if it does...if it does after you turned it off...u should brin it back...cause then u have a problem! buh i tried it nd it didn't set for me. buh i would suggest to becareful if you do try it...because if it does set u kno sometimes there is a lil extra kick from the engine when u do...just make sure no one is infront of you.

Something strange that happened to me this past weekend. I was crusing at 85-90... and i hit a pretty good open space so i was gonna curise bout 95 ... and the cruise would set or acc. at anything above 90. Not sure why,... i could set it at 90... but it wouldn't let it go above 90... even getting up to say 95 manually then try to set it.... it wouldn't.

Dunno why.

cruise controls have set parameters. the range is typically 40-80 mph looks like ours is set at 90 max.
