Remove antenna

I've searched around and havent found a write up on how to remove the hockey puck antenna nad put it elsewhere, like the rear deck or under the trunk lid. Any ideas? Looking for something quick and easy. I know a few of you guys have taken them off, is it like taking of the emblems? Thanks.

me if I missed it in a sticky.

I wouldn't take it off, this antenna was ran through the roof of the car right inbetween the rear glass and the roof. they actually cut a hole in the metal to run it through, so you will have an exposed hole there unless you cover it real good.

why not just paint it the same color as the car?

I never thought that the people that didnt have it on their pics just didnt have the satellite option.

Looking over the install guide for those that wanted satellite after purchasing the car, it does not show a hole in the roof. Instead there is a notch hole on the right side of the rear window (under the window trim). From there the cable is run through the inside trim of the rear window. I'll go take a look and see what this really looks like today. If its like Tek says then I live with it, if not I'm moving that bad boy.
