Where - Smoked Tails

I want smoked tail films for both my taillights, completely blacked out, because I do not want them to be painted. Where can I find one of good quality? Please direct me to one. Thank you.

Just one but like I said they are only the reverse light overlays, not the full tail overlays. Anyways, his email addy is bluebatmobile@san.rr.com or u can just PM him on here, his handle is blue batmobile. He also offers the colored overlays like the ones Jsmith has and I have the tint overlays on my sidemarkers.

I have mine done locally at a tint shop. The actual tint that was used is thicker than what is normally used for auto glass application. The fit is also better than what you could get through order...each side was measured on the tail light itself before it was installed. I paid about $60 to get it done.

I did get my sidemarker overlays and eyelids from bluebatmobile though.

Looks great. When I have my windows tinted, I'll just have them tint the tails as well...

Also...

How do you order eyelids & sidemarker overlays from bluebatmobile? Thanks.

Do you have to get anything additional for the shine? I have seen some tail light that is tinted and it looks flat, no shine at all.

CAuse "heeeeeeeee's a FAAAAAAAG"

I have my overlays from Bluebat, just make sure the installer doesnt cut them too short, because when they dry out, they shrink. MINE DID

my tint guy in chicago tinted mine for 20 dollars. it was a strechable tint that came in a small roll of about 3'x3'. it was put on just like window tint but without water. squegee was used to smooth out bubbles. once smoothed it was cut to size with exacto knife. sorry i dont remember what the name of the company the tint came from..i'll try to get the name this week.

I got the lighter shade tint for my taillights, it looks perfect on my dark slate metallic car. Although i might go with the darker one on certain colors. Also i would buy the sheet and cut it yourself. I bought the ones already cut from the website and they didnt quite fit perfectly.

Nightshades. You can purchase from Jeggs or possibly locally. It looks best when topped with clearcoat.

I have a can on my work bench. I'll be doing the GTP.

Bluebat's in 6/10 smoke over here. If that's not dark enough for you, you can ask him if he can make darker ones.
