I would go with a pair of 3k capsules. Yes 8k and up looks freakn awsome, but I would rather have lights that increase visibility in inclement weather because i hate when it rains and it seems as if my HID's arent doing anything for me.. Besides, I personally like the yellow color the 3k capsule creates.

I'd like for mine to work period. they went out several months ago and I have no idea why nor how to repair them. Any suggestions?

Incidently, my buddy has an IS300 with the yellows and it is very distinct from a distance. I always know when he is approaching.

You don't repair them, you replace them. There's info in the stickies on how to get to them. I have PIAA H3 yellows in the stock spot and they are awesome. I am talking about my lower fogs...

I know nothing about the Maxima (NEWBIE to the site), the GTP is mine. Is there any reason why suddenly both of my fogs no longer work? Are there fuses somewhere that I can't seem to find? Any other ideas before I buy bulbs? How much should I expect to pay? Are these an Ebay purchase?

So with the stock projector fogs, you have yellow H3 bulbs? And you would recommend this? It makes sense. I certainly don't need brighter lights, so yellow for adverse conditions would be cool I guess.

Not sure about fuses for the fogs. Just to clarify, there are 3 fuse boxes. One under the dash, one next to the battery and one on the elft side next to the coolant resevoir. I've never had fog problems but I have heard that once one goes the other tends to go pretty quickly. And the stock fogs have been problematic from the beginning...

And yes, I added yellows in the stock spot, they work and look great.

The "fog lights" you're actually referring to are cornering lights. They come on with the turn signals to light the way you turn. The actual fog lights on the max are inside the headlight, and you should know how to turn them on.

Don't I wish that sky-view opened!

I've got yellow fogs on mine, thay look okay but i'm considering trying a different color, although a re-wire may help me keep them.

Well 4 months later and against the poll I installed my Yellow PIAA's today. It's weird though they are a different yellow than the PIAA's up above?

Anyways, I love the look. Might have to move up to Yellow HID's in the future though.

Here's a couple of pics:

J, are you happy with the H3 PIAA's?

I havent been able to track down any capsules. I found the twin packs of PIAA's locally for $45. Its just a plug and play type of bulb right?
