Check engine light on once again
Check engine light on once again
Well fellow 6th Gen'ers
My check engine light is on once again. I take it to Autozone and this time it's throwing an error code P1275. The only problem is, Autozone doesn't have any information on this code.
Does anyone have any info on this code and what could be causing the problem?
Could it be header related again?

I found this weblink for codes:

I think P1275 is the accelerator sensor.

In a stock car the A/F sensors are in the upper manifold and the O2 sensors are just after the catalyst.

I don't know which scanner they let you borrow. But last time they let me use the one they had on-sale for $99 which will read and translate the code right on the screen.
I got the 1273 code for A/F Meter bank1. The dealer replaced my catalyst converter. There is a TSB for it (I got the exaust rattle fixed right before that). Look at the thread for the exaust rattle. I think this should be cover by the emission warranty which is longer than even the powertrain.

Good luck getting rid of the CEL, that is one of the codes that the 05 Altima's get after HS headers install, P1273 lean sensor1 bank1 the other code is P1284 rich sensor1 bank2, as of now we have no solution.

That's bad news that the sensor is near the firewall though.

They replaced the CAT (per TSB) and not the sensors. The car has been fine. If you're looking at the sensor, it maynot be the fix.

I have to work on my sig soon.
Well, my check engine light came on again. This time I followed the reset procedures found in the service manual.
At this point, I'm not sure if the problem is affecting performance, I don't notice much.
