Removing Grille

Stupid question, just need some help

I tried removing the grille a couple days ago. I removed that plastic strip on top of it, and there was nothing left. So I tugged on the grille, and to my surprise, it didn't come out. Looks like it was, but, nope. I saw these two things on the bottom that I think may be holding it on though..Anyone help?

Thanks.

Those things on the bottom are tabs that lock into the bumper if I remember. Just push them down and work the grill out.

Nietzsche is correct, but there's actually fourof them. You need to push the tabs down so they will slide out of the slot on the bumper...

Thanks so much. I'm guessing you need the tabs if you install another (not stock) grille...am I correct?
