take dental floss, and run it across the underside of the logo, wipe away remaining glue with a lil soap, water and sponge.

if you heat it up it will come off alittle easier, run the dental floss through it and some goo gone for the left over glue.

Yeah I did that with mine and it looks much better and you can't even notice there was anything there before.

Just heated it up with a hair drier, used dental floss, removed letters, and actually sponge didn't remove the remaining glue for me, but I poured hot water on it and used a wet T-Shirt which actually got rid of it completely perfectly without scratching the car at all.

So yeah, T-shirt works great for me, and took only about a half hour to do it all.

Let it sit in the sun all day, and THEN use the hairdryer. Then wax it afterward. I took my dealer one off, but I like Maxima & 3.5...would you ship me your Nissan Logo?

Let me know...

For the dealership logo, use a heat gun, if that's not available then use a lighter. I work at a dealership and both of those work just fine. And afterwards get some adhesive remover to get the extra gooy stuff out. Tec-90 is what we use, but i'm sure that anything at the local store that is safe on paint will do

I popped them out with my fingernails, no floss anything. I used my fingernails to take off most residue. Then I used some WD40 and a rag. A carwash followed right after and then some quick wax. Nobody can tell there was anything there before.

I just debadged on Friday and I'm so glad I did- looks sooo much cleaner. I did the Maxima logo and 3.5sl 1st, then had to do the Nissan logo for the full effect. I don't have a spoiler so it looks real smooth. BTW, I used a hair dryer, floss & Goo Off like everyone else. Looks like they were never on there.

Do you think removing Maxima from the trunk and putting it on the passenger's side of the dashboard would look

A. Hot
B. Not

NOT when it comes to emblems, I think less is more. Your ride though, and there's nothing wrong w/being unique.

I, too, think less would be more, but it really depends on the person and what they interpret to be nice looking. Obviously, some people as shown in another thread, that much more spoiler is better.

That would look great, especially if the airbag goes off. Then everyone can read on your passenger's forehead what type of car your passenger was in! Mount it backwards or provide a mirror...

They would make better decorations for the workbench than on the dash.
Yes and if you do have to put it there mount it backwords...that was a good one.

Removal is a easy mod heat the emblems then take dental floss or fishing line and glide it behind the emblem then take wax and remove the glue...

Get the goo off easy

I've used WD40 to remove the goo left behind after emblem removal. It dissolves the old glue immediately.
