AC and heat question
AC and heat question
If I set the temp to 72 and it's cold outside, why is the AC light on?
I assume the compressor does not run in this condition.
Usually I prefer not to recirculate air from the outside to avoid
exhaust gas. But if I hit the AC button to turn it off, the mode automatically
changes to recirculate air from the outside. If the compressor does not
run when the AC light is on, then I don't mind leaving it on that mode.

lol, i was thinking the same thing last night coming home. i set the temp above what the navi said. i am thinking that there would be a sensor that would keep it from coming on if outside temp < inside temp. i want an answer too, i guess i could try it by setting the temp above what the navi says and pop the hood and look ...
