04 with 35k when should i change plugs

04 with 35k when should i change plugs

Hay guys i bought my car awith 31k on it now has 35k when should i change plugs i had nissan do the tranny fluid is it easy to do myself
also what's a good plug to use

I wouldnt think you'd worry about that for a long, long time... Dont we have the 100K tunes?

I got my car around 30 K its a 04 and now its 32K is there any maintence i should have done? or should be doing?

Yes, double-tipped platinums to be exact.
The single tipped is rated for 60k.

I think the tranny fluid is due around 35k though.....and I think it's a special kind of fluid.

The general consensus is that plat's should be changed at 60k, since the chance of the plug siezing in the head increases with time.

I don't know if I believe this, since a friend who bought a 85k mile 240 had no problem pulling his plugs out.

Anywho, I know that those little platinum pucks will fall off way before 100k.

Personally, I am not gonna worry about it, since my motor has 65k, and I will probably sell in a few years. (i drive about 10k a year... x 2 < 100k)

Transmission fluid: It depends on your trans, I didn't catch what year your car is. I think the five speed auto requires matick, and the four speed is maticD (but you can use dexron III w/ lubegaurd).

no on the plugs, if your gonna keep the car, yes do the fluid. has to be nissan k-matic fluid.
