So long Max & ORG...

Ordered the '04 Elite pkg max 7/03. Drove off lot 10/03. Had about 3 days of happiness then everything went bad. Fought 2 and 1/2 years before going legal. So sad they couldn't fix petty issues.

I've spent a lot of time on this board looking for and finding some help. I am, now more than ever, a believer that "you get what you pay for".

Thanks for the help.

Huh?? With only 29 posts on the Org prior to this one, it seems strange that you said you looked around here a lot for help in the 3 years that you had the car. It couldn't have been that bad that you kept the car 3 years. What were some of the issues? And what did you buy now?

Late.

Sad to see you go so upset. If they were petty issues, why make a big fuss about it? You could have gone to another dealer.

I guess I must have a pretty good dealer. I have been in 6 times in one year just for warranty work for my 05 and they fixed everything without even having to debate anything.

Bye.

Guys,

He probably had a bad experience with a dealership. Those people can turn the most loyal Nissan customers away. I always say, the Maxima is a good product but the customer service is sh!++y all the way up to consumer affairs.

We shouldn't have to search far and wide to find a good service dept like I've had to do.

Several posts here along the lines of what AllBlackMax said. In reading his post, I thought about what a good relationaship I have always had with my Nissan dealer, and how much that means to me.

I have had what will soon be 58 years of dealing with service departments, and will go to my grave with some of those horror stories still etched in my mind. Don't even dare to ask.

I get sick all over again just thinking about some of those heartaches. Some of the worst events still pop up in my nightmares, and I wake up moaning and squirming, drenched in sweat.

I wish those who leave the Nissan brand well, because they will indeed be lucky if they find a good dealer, no matter the make of auto.

That isn't playing nice at all RH! (But I did laugh)!

From what I've gathered, you guys think it is an issue of service more so than the vehicle itself? I was wondering what made this man ache so much that he would toss away an SE with Elite. Those are nice for people that like the buckets in the rear.

I'm sorry you were so dissatisfied with Nissan. I, along with Light, hope you the best. I hope that you don't purchase a more expensive vehicle to get less in customer service.

The best in Customer Service that I have witnessed was with GM. I didn't buy from them, but my twin sister did. Their service was spectacular, not only through the purchasing process, but even in the days and months to follow!

700 miles after buyin 2 H3's, they fell apart. GM's service at Bradshaw down here in Greenville, was still astounding.

Again, I, too wish you the best.

Swee
