Its amazing what that little emblem does for an otherwise standard Trenze grill. Nice call!

The emblem on my grill is a rear emblem from Japan. I eyeballed it in the middle of the Trenze grill. I tried to round the grille a bit from the back...very difficult to do without damaging the grill. Yes now she's my grill friend! LOL! I do like #2 too.

to xoomer and jsmithsole, your input yesterday morning was great - now I understand the fitment of the RLM grill. If I understand you guys correctly, if the grill was mounted a little farther forward, the remaining "tooth features" on the hood and bumper will be hidden.

Thanks for your effort, that was the sort of image I wanted to see. I do like the concept because it integrates nicely with the car's design. You can have a great grill design, and a really nice car, but one won't necessarily look good with the other.

I know it looks differently from the customer's perspective, but arranging the contract manufacture in Asia of something as notoriously troublesome as aftermarket lighting is not jumping on the bandwagon, its diving into the swamp.
You always have to order in huge quantities if its your design, there's always a lot of money required up front (with someone you've never dealt with if you're new to lighting), and the product filling a semitrailer-sized container is NEVER what they promised it to be (just a question of how bad).
I like to learn from other people's mistakes where possible, and I've seen others make this mistake too often. It can be devastating to a small business.

Funny back in the day when we were talking about grills (about 2 years ago) I did this one!! Great minds think alike. This would be nice too!!

Yup, the frame just needs to come up to the hood line and run across, problem solved. It's just getting the fitment and lines to match up perfectly. Glad to be of service!!

If we kept the Tooth, then how about some verticle pieces like on the BMW 3.
It would be like \\\\o////
The little o is the burger on the tooth in the middle. Somebody that is good with photoshop make me a real picture out of this idea.

I'm really starting to go for the E&G classics combo on the '07. The pics for the two sets they offer are here:

Very nice. For now, I think nobody has shown a better grille than Deus... AND MINE!

I think its a very attractive grill myself. To be honest, if you're keen to get something on your car, go for the E&G. I can say for sure that if we get something rolling with the grill specialists we're talking to, we'll start with the 04-06, and anything for the '07 would be quite a ways off.
I should add that I've never seen one in person, don't know the build quality or anything like that, so this isn't an endorsement, but I do like the appearance.
