How not to drive your 2004 Maxima...

The picture at the end of this story is amazing. All I recognize is a wheel.

Merry Christmas!

WOOOOOOOOOW. Take away the (oddly high quality) wheel and I'd never think that was a max. That's a real tribute to the dangers of high-speed driving.

Yeah, when you lose control like that the car becomes a swinging pendulum and it's very hard to regain control.

wow, that's pretty scary to look at- kinda makes me wish I still had my Audi, which was much more solid. It looks like the whole thing just disintegrated.

Probaly bits and pieces still on the trailor...I wouldn't be surprised if the families tried sueing the truck driver for wrongful parking or some bulls**t like that, if they do then I hope that the same happens to them, because that is just plain stupid

At that kind of speed, no car is recognizable once hit something harder. Look at the S-class Princess Diana was in...

You'll be amazed what 40mph crash can do.......so 100mph into a PARKED tractor trailer.....will shred anything under 8k pounds.

While everyone is so quick to judge these three victims and their families I say God bless you all. We are not trying to sue anyone or justify any actions. We are trying to find comfort and a peaceful way to put my cousin and best friend Tiffany at rest.

Hey Family, do you have any ideas as to why they were running away from the POLICE??? I always pull over when they signal, are the laws any different in their state?

As to the victims, may god rest their souls, whoever they were.

1) Wait wait, your in Texas and they were in Missouri?? Hmmm.......

2) Under the Highway Traffic Act, all occupants in a vehicle where the driver fails to stop under direct or indirect order of an officer; are considered suspects and may be charged. So lets clear this up, if your friend was in this vehicle, she would have been a suspect and not a victim until proved otherwise.

3) God bless you too if you are telling the truth and we wish you closure over this holiday season in your loss.

The last reply.........

Yes, i am her cousin. Her FIRST cousin actually. I am from a place called Moberly,MO (30 minutes from where my cousin lived) but moved to Texas about a year ago......Really that is not the point. The point is I typed in my cousins name on the internet and found this site as to which my cousin was being called a "loser". Someone also made the comment that if the families sue they hope the same thing happens to us and blah blah blah.....That was my reason for responding. The laws are the same as everywhere else. Yes, you are supposed to stop if the police are pulling you over. My cousin was not driving the car so I have no idea what was running through her mind or the minds of the other victims. Right or wrong, all I know is that I lost not only my cousin but she was my best friend. I came to defend her honor. To those who wished my family well, Thank you.

That was me that said that. And I only said that because my dad has been a truck driver ever since I was 1 year old and when I was about a few years old a drunk driver nailed the back of my dads legally parked semi and the guy died. The guys family sued my dad and put tons of stress and fear and lost of time into my dad, but fortunately in the end my dad got away, as he definately should have...that is why I made that comment, but now seeing that is not the case, I apologize and wish you and your family the best.

Prjctmax don't worry about it. If the shoe was on the other foot I might have had the same reaction, so apology accepted......To answer someone's question, no that was not my cousins boyfriend. The only person I knew in the car was my cousin...........Thank you to everyone for their kind words, god bless you all.

Don't ever insult the dead. A little compassion never hurts. A lot of my buddies are cops and the last thing they want is anyone to die during chase.
