anyone mod the 07's yet?

just curious if people have started modding 07's yet. Im curious how they take to mods heavily because of the cvt.

And do any bolt-ons from 04-06 fit the 07s?

The mods are fine with a cvt, you would only be limited by what the transmission could take with tq which isn't going to be an issue.

I know you can use a CAI with the 07, FSTB will fit as well. The suspension has been altered between them and I haven't really looked to see if it's geometry or just spring rates and bushings. Obviously if the geometry is the same then all suspension bolt ons will work.

As for the Fujita cold air intake the bracket placement is a little different on the 07. They are in production as we speak. I will let everyone know when they are available.

I am not planning to MOD my 07.. maybe its the age, but I think I am starting to get over the MOD thing, but maybe that will change. If I do any MODS, they will be inside the cabin instead of engine stuff.

I have put on Progress springs and the Progress RSB. Both went on without any problems. I have pics, but can't upload them.

How is the ride on the progress on the 07? How would you compare it to stock?

Before you flame...I would assume it's the same as all other 6th Gens, but since there is a difference in the 07 stock suspension, I'd like to know how aftermarket compares to stock suspension specifically in a 07.

The ride isn't to bad, you can definitely tell that it has been lowered. In the front is where I can feel the biggest difference, over big bumps it can almost be harsh. It makes the car handle and look so much better,

hello guys, I've just spoken to Mat from Div Import - He's spoken to the manufacturer for me and has said that He'll be able to custom - make eye lids for the 2007 Nissan Maxima based on the paper template i provide him - He's also willing to setup a GD if i can get 10 + people - His e-mail address is

sales@divimport.com

or

mathieudivita@divimport.com (his direct email add)

Problem is the paper template - I'm not really good at this. Can someone help me out? I haven't spoken to him about a price yet but hopefully we can get a good price on these.
