Need you opinion on color for the brake calipers

I'll be painting the brake calipers soon and i just wanted to get everyone's opinion on what color looks good. I have a majestic blue max. If anyone has pictures on their painted calipers please post them. I'm thinking of doing either silver or dark blue. Thanks

Silver all the way! Red only looks good on a red car imo, unless it's a BBK.

nah, i wouldn't do dark blue. there's going to be no contrast as the colors would be the same. I'd go with silver or if you really wanna do blue, I'd look for the exact paint application of your car and go with that, i'm talking about majestic blue but probably metallic paint. Good Luck and post pictures when your done.

I'd like your and other's opinion on painted calipers too. I have a 2007 Nissan Maxima, Black on Black...What do you guys think is the best color if i were to go with painted calipers? I was thinking of black the actual black on my car. Someone suggested the main point of calipers is for them to stand out. What is your guy's suggestions? If not black, what color would it be?

Thanks guys.

Thanks trance.addict, you've done your homework I see...refreshing!

Defiant, I would go silver obviously, red too common, blue gets lost.

How about stock color with matching letters........

I've had these on the stock calipers finish and they still look great.

On your blue Max, I'd go with either silver or black. The only other color would be yellow with blue lettering, but that may be too extreme.

I installed mine with the wheels still on. You need a steady hand. Stop the wheel in a position that allows you to reach the caliper. Of course if you are painting calipers then the wheel has to come off any way. Two extra decals was in the envelope. I recommend doing it after a car wash. Spray the dirt of the caliper.

Hey guys,

On a Black Maxima, What do you guys suggest in regards to the caliper paint. I was thinking along the lines of Black with Chrome Decals. In Future, I might change the rims to Black Rims with Chrome Lip.

Black Paint With Chrome Decals? What Say?

i would think a black would look nice on a blue car and a red on a black car, since black on black would pretty much make the calipers invisible IMO. Problem for me is finding a nice red.

Black with chrome sticker= teh hotness
I have black with my spirited bronze color(sprayed bronze put on white nissan sticker then sprayed black let dry then peeled off sticker to reveal bronze lettering schweetness) so no actual sticker just paint

hmm, yeah i'm still confused lol.

cause i might do this mod in the next week or two, any idea howmuch it costs to paint calipers usually? Also, For now i got silver stock wheels. But in future, I'd get black with chrome lip. I'm debating between Black, Red or Dark Orange (to match stock oem lights) cause i plan to do an orange interior, like my footwells/domes etc. What do you guys say and lol, this is the last time i'm asking. More opinions, please. Thanks =).

Decal Stickers will be chrome no matter what. or maybe black on orange.

anyone wanna chime in? i can't decide - i was thinkin o going black but people are like no point cause it'll be invisble - so go with dark orange to match dash and interior lights. what do u guys say?
