Vibration, HELP!!!

Hello all, needed assistance or opinions. I have an '04 SE and I'm assuming that mine is not the only one afflicted with this problem. If I have the radio off or on low volume there is a very annoying rattle coming from behind the center console area where the radio is located. I removed the entire assembly twice trying to locate the culprit, both no luck. Anyone have any idea of what is rattling, it sucks that my car looks great inside and out, but I have to deal with this cheap sounding rattling/vibration.

Your problem could be your rear view mirror. I have the same problem and it drives me nutz. Squeeze your mirror and see if it stops making the noise.

i'll give that a try, but it sounds like it is coming from behind the center console though.

Can you elaborate a little more on what you did? My mirror rattles constantly... I'm always trying to adjust it to make it stop (and only succeed temporarily...).

Mine did at first too, I'm not sure why. I kep having my passengers reach up on the dash area to try to stop the buzzing... maybe it has something to do with the shape of the dash/console area? Finally I touched the mirror while this noise was happening any I felt the vibration, and realized that this is where it was coming from all along.
