04 Shifter knob broke

04 Shifter **** broke

Anyone know of a dealer selling replacement shift ***** online for a 04' auto? Whatever the cheap little clamp ring on my broke because i can pull my **** straight off the shifter now.

Toss that sucker and get a cool MOMO shifter ****. Thats what I did in my 04 when that little ring broke. Some people here have even taken a hacksaw to the shifter pole and made it shorter, but I didn't go that far. Do a search on MOMO here, and I am sure you will find it. I know Jsmithsole did it.

I noticed the gold colored clip on mine is soft and you need to bend it tighter so it fits on the grove on the shaft. The clip should be made of a harder metel so it retains its shape instead of opening up. Or get a new clip.

Thats waht I did also. The dealer sell price for a replacement stock **** was the same price as the Moma
