No offense but the car already "looks" like a Lexus GS, why fake the effect more with the yellow fogs??
If you want to fake it even more, here is what you do.
The Lexus yellow fogs are actually a regular 9006 bulb but the lens is yellow. If you want to fake it, you can buy yellow PIAAs (please but a quality brand) for the Lexus effect.
Some people also buy yellow film and cut it over the fogs, for the yellow effect.
The Lexus yellow fogs came on HID equipped GS and IS cars and ES 300s from 1992-1994.
Hope that helps.

what? the capsules are just a piece of glass/plastic that goes over the current bulbs. no need to buy new bulbs or film. and the yellow fogs arent to fake a GS, i just like yellow fogs lol

I agree.... Lexus actually used the capsules. I found this out when I called Lexus parts to see about buying bulbs. They use the capsules from the factory. These will put off a much brighter yellow light compared to the Piaa's and these no need to buy any other bulbs. I just bought some from HIDtech, cant wait till they show up. Its funny how people argue points that have dont know s**t about.

These are the one used in a 6th gen max. They fit the stock H3 bulbs

NOT THESE

Don't know if you're bashing me or joking around, but light out-put is better and they do look cool in the housing when paired with the lights that I stated!

Nope... I've sent them countless emails. How do places stay in business with no customer service?

alright chances are you looking for andy from HIDTech...best thing you can do is call him.

umm but as far as the capsules go for the 6th gen...they won't fit. i've already tried doing a test fit with andy personally. there is a alternative though...they are complete fog light replacements. bascially what it looks like is the OEM stock fixture however with a yellow lens. and yes there is a huge diffference. and its not just a cheap little light trick difference. the lens itself is yellow meaning if you use stock H3 bulbs the light output will be solid JDM yellow. we were thinking of trying them with yellow H3 bulbs with the yellow lens to see how much "richer" the color tone would be buh he didn't have and h3 bulbs. but i'm still waiting for someone to rent or sell me their HID headlights inorder to try it out. shyt. where are headlights when you need them. lolxz

hope that helps you guys out with the thought process.

ooo btw he is located in the NYC, Queens, Flushing area.

if anything i don't like giving out people's phone number without asking them first. so if you wish to contact them lemme know and i'll give him a call.

Why wont they fit? They slide over the existing bulb. If you know the guys down there, please tell them to answer their emails. If they dont want a sale, I'll just buy some where else

apparently its a bit difficult to explain however lets just say that our fog light housing will not support/fit the capsules.

and i just re-read what you wrote and lets just say if you purchase the necessary parts, i'm assuming your not from around NYC...so you'll still need someone to install the parts for you...cause its not simple remove and replace...its more like remove adjust and place in...there's minor modding involved with the yellow fog fixtures. i hope that clears it up for you a little bit...

I wont need any installations... Why would someone buy any other light housings when you could get yellow bulbs? PIAA H3's, for example. I only want the capsules because they put out a more true yellow light than most others. Theres several threads on here supporting that. I really truely doubt Nissan or whoever built the projectors our fogs use are just slighty bigger than the bulb itself. I'll pull the bulbs tomorrow and have a look for myself. There has to be room in there for a measly thin piece of glass to fit around the bulb. Tell your boys or whoever to contact me. Ive probably left 5-10 emails over the last week and a half. I guess I'll just have to do like others and buy yellow bulbs...
