That's exactly what I was thinking. Although not my style, you have to admire the passion that person has for the car.

That being said, I can only imagine the handling and what it is like to drive over train tracks or potholes. The shakes and rattles must be out of control on that car. If you think about it, they removed the entire roof which gives the car the majority of its structural integrity. I actually wonder it it's a top down only car. I would be intersted to see it with the roof up. If it goes up for that matter.

I would like it if it only costed 5 grand, and the top could be put back on if needed. Still looks nice though.

That actually doesn't look too bad. I especially like the two-tone seats. The tv's in the back seats do look ridiculous though.

Maybe Nissan engineers would take this idea and make it a reality with a hard top. It may ride like crap unless they stiffened the chassis but it does look good, except I wouldn't have the TV monitors in the REAR headrests, why entertain those driving behind you?

Take that $15,000 and get a $45,000 car...my .02

I agree, the rear headrests are the first dumb thing I noticed, people love to waste money for some reason.

Plus it looked better before, how much money to change it back?

and the front headrests DON'T have tv's ... odd..

to the Miami guy: why does it have to stand out? 5 years old is perfectly fine if you ask me. (I mean, round wheels are millions of years old...) I don't need to impress other people to make myself feel cool or popular. I like standing out as little as possible. anyway, my point is do what YOU like, not what everyone else (or MTV) likes.

Lots of time and money went into that car making it a truly one of a kind Maxima. They did a commendable job. However, I find it disgusting.

The logistics of a hard-top convertible sedan is nearly impossible. I'm not saying it can't be done, but don't expect to see it anytime soon.

its not to make the person feel cooler or popular. anyone knows that if they had the hook up or the money they would do the same thing. anyone who says they wouldnt is full of shyt. also living in MIA u see so many things that you didnt think you could do to a car. i agree tv's in the rear headrest is dumb but if u have it y not.

I agree with MiamiBlackMax.
Its nice to see when people do different things to their car. Whats wrong with someone making their 6th gen a drop top? who cares if it handles like crap? The question you should ask is "Who is driving that car?" It sure as heck aint you.....so dont hate on someone elses creativity.
And once again....living here in miami you see a lot of custom work on all types of cars. We like to think outside the box of considering led lights and hid upgrades as custom upgrades.
