I'm not feeling it. It's kind of odd though that the sunroof is cracked open... hope it wasn't like that when it rained.

I don't think that Taz's FSTB would fit anymore with that set-up!

I swore half a century ago that if I survived my two-tone '55 Pontiac Star Chief, I would never again own a two-tone car. And I haven't.

The colors of that Star Chief were 'firegold' and 'white mist'. The 'firegold' was a cross between a maroon and a rust color with lots of gold flecks in the paint. The 'white mist' was sort of a dirty cream.

I drove it over 100,000 miles, coast-to-coast several times, but mostly in the Arizona desert. I had no major problems with that car, and it would literally fly. But I never felt any 'pride of ownership', and usually tried to park behind a semi, where no one could see what I was driving.

As to the two-tone 6th gen? I can only hope the owner replaced some damaged parts with pieces from a wrecked Maxima in a salvage yard, and will be getting them painted to match the rest of the car.

Woah...I noticed the seller is a guy I remember reading about on another forum. He got a in a big e-argument with somebody else about who has the fastest cars! He swears that he races all these exotic cars over on the west coast...great thread, but I can't remember where I saw it. If I remember, I'll post the link for our enjoyment.

Not bad on the sides but they did a half a$$ed job of transitioning the red from the hood and trunk to the rest of the body. I myself at one time was contemplating going with a radient ember on the top and liquid silver on the bottom.

Krute!

I kinda like the look of it. Everyone wants uniqueniss and there you have it. Im not a fan of the conventional moon roof, I HATE leather, and I dont like the wood grain. Everything else is still very very nice though, I will admit. I had a friend of mine that works at this auto place and he got his skyview roof to open and close!!! It was sick but it made funny noises when opening and closing... I know nothin from nothin about cars but that was hott!!

Two-tone. Perhaps on a SUV it may look good. But definatly not on Maxima.
