I love my Maxima.
I love my Maxima.
Let me share a story about my drive home tonight.
First, let me set the scene. I turn right onto the five-mile long country road that takes me home. It has been recently re-paved. The road is deserted at 11pm. It parallels railroad tracks for a good 1-2 miles. The temperature is a brisk 47˚ outside. My Heated Seat and Heated steering wheel are activated. A very light, barely noticeable, fog has descended upon the countryside. I'm listening to "Classic Rewind" on Sirius.
The current song ends and "I can't drive 55" by Sammy Hagar begins to play. My eyes open wide, and I get a light, tingly-feeling. As soon as Sammy breaks into the chorus, I tell my Maxima that it's time to go by firmly pressing my right foot to the floor. She responds willingly. Her tach jumps to 5500 and obidently stays there while the speedometer goes from 45 to 55...65...75...85...95...up to 100. I'm in a trance-like state. I feel one with the road. I see the headlights of a train in the distance, coming toward me. In no time, the growling locomotive shoots by. I assume it must be doing at least 55mph. The train only adds to my perception of speed. It feels like I'm going 200mph, yet in complete control. The train passes, my turn approaches, and I let off the accelerator.
I drove the rest of the way home with the biggest smile on my face. The Maxima is the best purchase I've ever made

That story obviously didn't involve a turn in the road. LOL!
"45 to 55...65...75...85...95...up to 100. I'm in a trance-like state." *edit* Until I hit a sharp turn. I nearly pissed my pants stomping on the brakes. I couldn't stop my hands from shaking all the way home. LOL!

This guy loves to receive praise but if anyone even makes a comment, even if it is not an insult, he takes offense.

O and he loves to critisize

Are you kidding me? Seriously? I didn't take the slightest bit of offense. The guy is comparing a 390rwhp car to a 255hp sedan.

ain't that the truthI think I've seen the '07 Maxima commercial twice...ZERO times after they started airing the Altima commercial.
Seems like the new Altima commercial pops up once per commercial break.
