no its not covered by warranty...a warranty is for if things break...not get stollen.... and yes you are losing performance ... its not good to run w/ no mufflers ...im sure you will through a code soon enough

Check with your insurance about the mufflers. Dealers won't know about the reflash ECU.

You will not void your engine warranty with a catback exhaust system (Like Greddy SP-II) or custom cut into your existing exhaust with Cattman or Megaflows mufflers. And the Greddy's are all stainless steel and sound great. Visit my web site and click on the video's to hear the sound produced. But take into consideration that my vehicle sound is based on having a GReddy SP-II Catback, HotShot Headers and an Injen CAI.

i WAS GOING to do a full exhuast but i am in the process with working w/ cattman for some headers and a y pipe so i didnt want to do any further mods to the car till thats all done.. Once i have the headers on , i will then upgrade my stock pipes but not by a lot...

With just doing the mufflers i could feel a small increase in power... from what i heard magnaflow * which i havE* are the best for a nice sound not toooooo loud... and i hear they give you a little hp TOO !!

VQ35, wasn't your car just recently stolen and near total loss, once again I am shocked. I mean NY is no saint but Bensonhurst is considered more than a OK and mufflers????

There's a GReddy knock off that some members like, doesn't look bad either. Question: How did they just steal your mufflers??? Sawzaw??? The OEM muffler, piping, etc. are all one peice. I had to put my car on a lift to remove! Anyway, good luck, maybe consider some Megaflows or Cattmans.

Last, the dealer will not be able to tell that an ECU has been reflashed...

Aside from the decal on the ECU, they wont be able to tell unless they deliberately revved it to 7100.
