stock struts

i was wondering if you guys knew of a different strut that would not have such a big perch like the oem struts. i dont want to lower the car at all but the rim/tire combo that i am trying to put on my car hits the perch on the stock strut. is there any aftermarket strut that would eliminate the perch. i know coilovers would solve my problem but i dont want to lower my car at all. any help guys would help.

And it is annoying.

To the original post, sine that douchebag derailed it onto his stupidity...

I am not aware of a manufacturer that can makes a smaller perch, since the spring size is pretty much going to only be one diameter (lowering springs may be shorter, but still have the same diameter, get what I am sayign?)

You might find someone who makes the perch higher up, which is your real problem.
