Headlamp

I am looking for a passenger side headlamp for my 04 max. the big plastic cap i think the locking one is broken. i have tried to find a replacement cap with no luck. so my next step would be to get a new assembly itself. the dealer quotes them at or around 300+. is anyone selling one or know anyone that is. my aftermarket hid wont sit flush in the one that is broken so i need a new one, i have tried junkyards and so forth with no luck. please help or offer suggestions.

Justin

wow that's crazy! I've had 2 head-lamps for sale for months and no one wanted them and now there have been 3 people within the last week! Sorry to say that I sold them, but your best bet would be to search some junk yards. http://www.car-part.com/

Cap can be ordered....
It is alittle pricey because the harness comes with it.
just got one sent to me...

NON-HID Part number for drivers side (call your dealership to confirm this is on the passenger side too)
26038-7Y000

I got the best price on nissanparts.org $63.31(includes shipping)

yeah, i got one priced at the dealer for 73 bucks. but i didnt think that cap came with the harness, I have the diagram with all the part numbers printed from the dealership. So i'll have to confirm that cap comes with the harness and that is the right cap i need before i order. Holla

Yeah, unfortunately the cap has to come with the harness as the wires are pre-fed through it.

i went to the dealership yesterday and the parts counter people are telling me that big gray cap cannot be ordered without buying the whole assembly. Who is right, i am getting frustrated and aggrivated with the morons at the nissan dealership. I'd rather spend 73 bucks on the harness if that cap comes with it rather then spending 400+ ON A NEW HEADLAMP ASSEMbly. Blu can you contact me so i can ask you a few questions please. 860-867-6726 .... Justin

I would say that the steaership may have a point. Unless you plan on splicing all the wires, then you would have to get a new assembly imo.

Guys... I will take a picture of it tonight...

The number I gave above... is the Grey Non-HID cap for behind the headlight.
It comes with the wiring harness which connects to the turn signal and the foglight. The reason is that the headlight wires are "pre-fed" through the cap, and have a connector on the other side.

Any questions let me know.
