Brakes

Hello everyone. Today i changed a set of front brakes on a 05 maxima. I know the factory ones are organic pads. The pads I installed were monroe semi-metallic pads. The rotors were nice and straight so I did not machine them. The silicone lubricant was installed at all the locations shown in the service manual. What happens know is the car makes a groan noice when it comes to a stop. Has anyone had this happen to them? Could it be that the original ones were organic and since the new ones were semi-metallic that is causing the problem? Any help would be appreciated.

Give them 500-1000 miles to properly seat in, the new pad surface is ruff and needs to wear into the rotors, do some highway driving and apply the brakes, no heavy braking or emergency stopping but after they are worn in the brakes will feel even better

Your supposed to break in your rotors or pads whenever there is something new in the setup. There was a link here somewhere maybe someone else would be able to post it.
