The new Nismo's

Well finally put the new Nismo on and man, worth every penny. Got a sweet deal on the rubber with T1R Toyos ($850 mounted balanced, etc lifetime) and yes new
Before everyone says one word....yes I know I need to lower it and it will be done.

Very nice! Good looking rubber too. Are those the gunmetal ones or the brighter colored ones?

that definitely looks like the gun-metal version. I used to really want these rims, but the more and more I see them on 6th gens, I kind of don't like them. That's just my preference and why I am going for the 350Z track wheels, but to each his own!

Nice. I like them. Gives the Max an agressive look. If you drop it, then you can drive it like you stole it.

They are gunmetal and they make the smoke color on the maxy look like a loaded weapon. The ride is so far so good. Taking bumps like a grandmother.
Thanks for the compliments so far... keep them coming

How much did you end up paying for the rims alone? my dealer charges $2000 for them without tires.

I got them at cost at $1436. they are not cheap any way you look at it, but the end result is worth every penny. Good luck.

These rims are of the hook and I know it. They look sick with any dark maxima. Just don't try the gun-metal on white/silver/champagne and you'll be 200% satisfied. oh yeah, they are light as hell too.

They can be had on ebay every now and then for $1500 brand spankin' new

I also installed lojac on these wheels for people like you fastmax...j/k. Wont be modding for quite some while, but I did sell my OEM wheels for quite a deal to a bud. Ill let you all know when I lower the beast. Next to go in is the FTSB when it gets here and the y pipe. Give the Max a more aggressive look by far.

Sold the stocks with about 10K left on tires for $450 to a friend. Prob think that is cheap. Also, will the 245/45/18s fit on a 5th gen?
I got the wheels from Fred Beans Nissan in Penn. The parts manager's name is Andrew. Very nice guy.

Good choice, man. The gunmetal really goes well with your ride. After the drop & swapping the grill out, you'll be pimpin!

I like the rims as well. I personally prefer something a little more stock or not as "aggressive" if you will. Does anyone know of some good online sites to visit to look at some rims for the maxima. I'd like to keep the stock size of 18"

www.tirerack.com
you can put the maxy in there and choose different rims. I think the program is ok, but it is the best thing before you buy them.

Thanks for all of the positive comments even tehaviator...j/k. The barkes were done by myself with G35 caliper paint and Nismo decals for the caliper. By far the most cost effective mod to looks ration done yet. It took 2 hours or so with 2 coats and removal of wheels and car on stocks... I do everything by the book.

Xorbit, by smoking the head and taillights, do you use film or do you have a homey to do this?

Ill try to get some better pics on here as one of my photographer friends said that my pic angle makes the car look long.

ALRIGHT, I've been blessed by a WINDFALL and I'm going to get a set of THESE for me!!! I've gotten a quote from my favorite Nismo dealer, www.vadennissanparts.com for $423 each, plus shipping. Don't see ANYTHING better on eBAY or anyplace else. Any thoughts???

Oh, I want the silver ones vs. the gunmetal ones. Part# 4030S-RNA4010

Thanks!

It think the guy in PA has them cheaper. My brother bought a set on ebay for $1500 ($375/per) but that dealer only lists them every once in a while.

Brian,
Speak with Andrew at Fred Beans Nissan in PA. Say that someone refered you to get the nismos for the maxima and make him an offer and he may order them for you. Andrew is the parts manager. Get the number from searching on google. not sure if he will do it, but you can try it. Good luck
