FOUND THEM!!! My favorite Nissan Dealer in the WORLD, Regal Nissan of Roswell, GA - plug plug said they would MATCH my second favorite Nissan Dealer in the WORLD, Vaden Nissan of Savannah, GA - plug plug. $423 each (no shipping) plus tax. 10% over the dealer COST of $385!!! Not TOO shabby, if you ask me. Now, just to find some tires...

Actually, Costco is starting their semi-annual SALE on BF Goodrich next Monday. Perhaps, I'll pick up some KDW 2's cheap...

Any other thoughts on 19" tires? (245/40/19) What are those ones with the "redwalls?" They would LOOK Bad-a-s-s on my ride. Either that OR they would make my black Maxima look like the Batmobile (the TV show version for you young'ens out there). Seriously, any recommendations?

THe toyos are a great bargin. The dunlop sport maxx would be legit, but quite pricey. I got quotes at literally 10 different places. Sears will price match and so will tires plus. Kaufman quoted me $1250, and I got them at tires plus for $850. i recommend an alignment or you will be spending loot again real soon on tires. i always seem to get decent deals though. Good luck. Any tire you pick at 19" should be a decent tire no matter what you go with.

Dude, get the KDWs from Costco, you won't be dissapointed. Great price too, plus they are practically made by Michelin if it makes any difference.

I believe so, but go ahead and call and they should know.

The price for 245/40/19 KDW 2's on Tirerack.com is currently $253 each. I'm hoping that the sale at Costco will even be cheaper (they usually are). Plus, they include installation, road hazzard, lifetime rotation and balancing, etc. in the price of the tires. You're paying sales tax, but probably worth it at the end of the day. Tirerack is a great online store (I've bought many tires from them in the past), but it's a bit inconvenient to receive tires via UPS and not all tire stores enjoy installing someone else's tires at for $15 each.

Yes, I know BFG is owned by Michelin. I had BFG's on my Chevy Avalanche and loved them. I also have g-Force sports on my 17" stock rims and love them also.

I'll post some pics when I get everything on. Unlike the pics here, mine will be the "bright" ones vs. the gunmetal ones. Should look better on my Black ride (although the gunmetal ones rock too!).

Costco should be cheaper. I got mines 245x45x18 for $178 each installed. 255x40x18 was like $189. I think I looked for these for my brother's max and he has the same rims you're getting and they were like either 198 or 209 or something like that. He loves my tires but wanted to get All_Season so he splurged on Micheling Pilot Sport A/S. Expensive piece of rubber and not as sticky as KDWs.

FORTUNATELY, WE don't need anything but sticky summer tires down here in Atlanta. The ONE day a year it snows or ices (maybe) we all just stay home (no plows or salt trucks, etc.) Not to get off topic, but did your ActiveTune Grill arrive yet? I keep getting compliments on mine. Yesterday, I pulled up in front of the another 6th Gen Maxima and the guy actually asked me what kind of car I was driving. Funny, huh? The day before I guy at the NOPI counter asked me if I'd changed my "front end" and told me that my car LOOKED fast. Hope you like yours!!!

I ordered it like 2 days after you send me that pic of the mesh and they replied that it takes 3-4 weeks since they are custom made. Yesterday I got an email with tracking number so it should be here much sooner than expected. Woohooo, that would be about 10 days including shipping if it comes by the weekend.

Who cares? Do you see how they look? Just kidding! Actually, they're not as bad (in terms of comfort, that is) as I feared. Sure, I can feel the bumps a bit more around town, but it rides really nice on the highway. The much lighter wheels (suprisingly lighter) seem to really help the launches. The handling feels "nimbler" as well. I have to be careful now on the highway as a misplaced tug of the wheel sends the car into the next lane.

I'm sure that I'll generate a few more impressions when I start doing my daily commute (where I notice my new mods the most), but so far I'm very happy!

Looks very clean. nice BFGs. Needs a tint however (windows), but your wife is probably at her wits ends. She is probably saying, "when is it ever going to stop....you will always find something else to spend on for that car." or along those lines.

Thank you. Window tinting on on "the list", but not before I finish my Z32 brake upgrade and get my APEXi NEO installed properly. Of course, there's the Racingline strut bar (when Taz finally ships them) and maybe some Nismo sway bars. It's a long list...

My wife is DEFINITELY at her wits end. I told her about the new wheels, but failed to mention that I had to buy new rubber as well as I had just bought the BFG Sports for my 17's around 4 or 5 months ago. I THINK that I'll just get the stuff I have in hand installed and then cool it for a while, BUT probably won't...

About 5 lbs lighter per wheek than stock. Not to mention the glammer appeal. Brake upgrades will be a sinch. thanks for the comments.
