I was thinking of getting the Ken wood DDX 7017 double din touch screen receiver/monitor to replace the stock BOSE. Can it be done,will the stock screen be unusable (for temp reading etc.), I dont have the stock Navi

 

Nah ........its a totally seperate harness, you will have to get a metra dash kit and cut it to fit the double din....been done several times. Somewhere around here i did a write up on this......do a search for it. I forgot the name of the thread but i know its around here somewhere.

Yeah you'll have to keep the stock info screen, just move it down like a lot of us have done...

Alpine has a great touch screen that I've been contemplating on purchasing, but I always own pioneer. Your system looks awesome, love the all blue appearance.

 

thanks alot for the info...Is this a hard install? What size monitor do you have on top and in the middle? I was just gonna go with the kenwood in the middle and leave the info screen where it is but.... looking at your setups i might have to re-think this....LOLOL....
P.S. I have yet to donate the 20 dollars to search the forum....LOL

 

you have to get little more creative to have that screen up top, if you are willing the screen is a 7" nesa 7005 found on e-bay for about 130.

not for nothing, your car is not a cadillac, grille you can get away with it, but the cadi logo got to go....seriously.....advertise trully what your car is and not what you want it to be. if a cadi is your taste then a cadi you must buy. but to replace the nissan logo is to lie to yourself.

I am almost positive that he is going to change the emblem. He is not "lying" to himself in anyway. The grill looks spectacular. I'm thinking he just wanted some reactions...

i will admit i like that front bumper though...the grille isn't half badd either...just need to get rid of the cadi emblem.
