Where Is The Paint Code?

I am about to purchase a '07 spoiler for my '04 Max, but before I do so, I need to locate where the paint code is on my car so that the spoiler can be color-matched. Can someone help me with this?

Thx!

What color is your car? I believe it's on a plate on the drivers side door jam. Where it latches shut, check there.

Try the plate on the firewall under the hood.

If you have trouble or doubt as to the official color code for your '04 Maxima, you can go to the last sticky at the top of the 6th gen forum above (6th gen Maxima How To.../Specs & Info), scroll down to the OEM Specs section, then click on Color Options, and when the screen comes up, scroll down to Official Exterior/Interior Color Combinations. Following the name of each color is the official Nissan code for that color.

Or you can cheat and peek in the following blurb:
Winter Frost=QX3, Liquid Silver=KY1, Spirited Bronze=KY2, Majestic Blue=BW9
Champaigne Mist=EY1, Red Opulence=A15, Onyx=KH3, Coral Sand=C12, Smoke=K11, Radiant Ember=A19.

If you buy it at the dealer, just give them your vin.

side note: A lot of people go back to the car write it down instead of looking at their registration (in their wallet). My dealer always laughs at it.
