Bye-bye 6th gen

Unfortunately (and fortunately), I am forced to sell my maxima to the parental units as my wife and I are pregnant with twins . I had to get rid of that hefty car payment in order to have enough money to pay for childcare (from what were told it will range from about $1200-1500 per month for the "newbies," OUCH!). In exchange, I am getting my mother's 98 maxima, so I'll still be driving a good car, luckily.

Sorry about the , just wanted to express my superficial sadness.

Congrats on the twins. You will miss the roominess in about a year. Good luck.

Oh man, that sucks. I just got my 6th gen and loving it...

Well, then get ready to do plenty of mods on your 'new' 98 to keep yourself and the twins (future Maxima.org members) happy

Thanks everyone! I miss the roominess already and I haven't even given it up yet I may have to step it up to a Pathfinder when the time comes. Or maybe a Volvo wagon (the R preferably!).

Congrats to you, as well, sir! If I snuck in some mods my wife would sneak in a few punches to my face. I wish I would have kept my mods from my last 4th gen

I'm sure the butt-wiping will take up a good portion of time, but otherwise I will have fun. have fun with your free 6th gen (must be nice!)

Looks like I am in for a delivery sometimes after September too. At least I'll keep my maxie, but will probably have to shave off on spending on my other hobbies (salt/freshwater fish, photography, computers.....) GF told me to get things now or never, heheh I listened and just ordered myself a new IBM Thinkpad laptop ($2300).

BTW for those interested, IBM (Lenovo) has memorial day sale going on on Thinkpads. At 25% off these normally expensive babies, its a steal. These are the most reliable laptops.
