New Konig Wheels - INSTALLED!!

I thought for a long time about my selection, and once purchased there was a month backorder, but I am SO glad I didn't change my mind again. Even though these are Mustang inspired I think the wheels look great on the Smoke colored Max. If anyone is contemplating Rims, these 20's fit nice with no sacrifice in ride comfort.

Wheel: Konig Beyond (Graphite) 20" X 9"
Tire: Kuhmo Ecsta SPT 245/35/20

Before:

Big Brother

The Gang

Installed, the Wet Look

Down Low

Yes, I know it needs to get lowered now, so if you were gonna say that just hold it! haha

Wow, they look huge next to the stock 17's. From that first pic I would have said they wouldn't fit but they look good on there. Congrats, nice pick on wheels.

THANKS EVERYONE!!!!

To all who have posted so far it really makes me happy to get some Max-love on the wheel selection. Six compliments in a row is pretty special on any discussion board because of the wide degree of tastes and preferences.

They do look huge in the comparison pic, but on the car, the two tone makes them look just right.

Definitely a good combo, I've liked quite a few Konig designs and this is no exception!

It appears that the rim itself isn't smoke colored though.

Could have gone with a lower offset to bring those out to the fender, nothing spacers cant cure in the future!

Very slick though, i like them a lot..

In regards to the coloration, maybe thes close up shots that I took will help. You can see the metallic texture to the center of the spokes, which is smoke colored like the car, and that edges are polished.

It's tricky to photograph these like they look in real life but the shot of them all laying near the back of the car and these are pretty good I think.

Thanks again for all the compliments, I did put a lot of thought into the selection. I think the Max being a sedan with substance needed some wheels that didn't have thin spokes or a lot of 'negative space'. I personally didn't want chrome because I tend to speed, and the cops are more likely to nab the flashier looking cars, so I hadda stay low profile hehe.

And...

Mostlikely the color is probably gunmetal. Either way it matches the maxima color very well. The wheel design themselves are kinda growing on me, but I dont know.... They are for sure different. Maybe the drop will make the rims more appealing to me.

Good job on the wheels... I have been contemplating getting new wheels for my 07 SL, but I dunno... have you noticed a change in fuel consumption? That's my biggest fear in getting bigger wheels.

Hella nice...they look like the old Classic Crager muscle car 5 spokes that I have on my 1966 Farilane, with a new twist. High five. I'll be looking at Konig more now.

Very nice. I know first hand how long and hard it can be to decide on what to go with. Nice choice, different, but nice.
