I can't speak for other places, but the fuzz in the county I live in are very very strict on vehicle lighting. They even pounce on those common purple 'underneath the rocker panel' lights here.

Not that they get much opportunity; this is a very straight-laced by-the-book place, and I see very very few modded vehicles of any sort around here. What I do see are literally hundreds of ancient ('20s thru '60s) antiques. That seems to be the hobby of choice here, where there are lots of old rich folks.

But different places do things differently. For instance, I would guess the fuzz in Fulton County and Atlanta would probably be too busy processing bodies to fool with strange lighting.

KC: i see those STUPID things all teh time here in cali...

Its a fan fav w/ MOST civic owners.. also i see BOTH of these types of mods on a lot of kia and hyundai's etc... Seems like its the kids who are young tht can really afford REAL mods.. so they buy these things at Kragen/napa/autozone etc...

SAD.. just plain sad...
