blackedout headlight ??'s

Anyone have pics of "blacked out " headlights from there 6th gen?? and a HOW TO to go w/ it

Im going to have a few days off soon and wanted to do another mod to the max...

Anyway, please post a pic and what you used...

I too am interested, I saw this mod on a car here The guy did a great job. Question I would have is the 07 headlight the same as the 04-06?

I have never heard of it. IMPO, fastmax your car has plenty of eye candy. I think you are one or two more mods away from it looking overdone. Just drive the car now. (its finished) .

how to open them up ????? i don't want to send my headlight to no1 , and pay crazy money for it , i just want to open hem up and paint them any one know how to open them ?

I wouldn't really mess with it if you never did it before,,, you gotta throw them in the oven open them up and reseal when your done,,, by any chance has anyone seen a white 6th gen with painted white headlights ???

You have nevr heard of tinting the inside of lights???? dood where in NC are ya hahah ....

Thanks for your imput, but im pretty sure that tinting my lights on the inside of them WONT make it look overdone... i think it will bring out my new black grill and also go well it w/ my tinted tails and black windows pillars , and window tint ....

I think your car will look great with blacked out chrome in your headlights. You can either paint it black or body color (smoke) and either will look fabulous.

I'd drop 20 bux for the overlays before I opened my headlights ... Anyone done the overlays and not been happy with them?

Ill sell you some.. i have a set from paradoxsystems that are black that i didnt think did much for ME? maybe you willl like em...

they are expensive though... they are not the "BLUEBATMOBLE" material...
these thicker etc... anyway... i got em' for likie 66 shipped !

Dude, the only way is to use an oven. You can't get even heat to the seals over the entire headlight with a heatgun.

I have 4 things done to teh outside of it... hahaha

I say go for it. Blacked out headlights are a awesome stealth mod! It will go great with your smoked/tinted look.

LmAo,,, i wasn't joking about the oven thing,, i opened my headlights twice and where i got it done, the guys told me they use an oven,,, if you know a better way to get it open then im all ears,, and to prove i wasnt joking around ill post pics of the process when i get my headlights painted this week.....

Bake em at 250 for 15-18 minutes and they are perfectly ready for opening. Check my thread.

There is nothing wrong with that, and as far as college goes My half retarded neighbor is in college, hell anyone can go to college it will not mean anything in the end, I know many college educated Idiots!!!
