Dice Electronics (iPod Solution for Max)

All-As I continue my quest to find an iPod interface compatible with the 07' Max, I've contacted Dice electronics in regards to this. They currently manufacture and iPod interface for several vehicles with exception to Nissan. Their response was encouraging so I urge any of you that are interested in this to visit their site and express interest in a solution for the Max. As you can see from the response below, I believe this is something that could come sooner then later if enough people express interest..

Here's the response I received from Dice Customer Service:From:

Hello

Unfortunately we do not have an iPod integration solution for Nissan at this
time. However as a happy Nissan owner myself I have been bothering the
decision-makers constantly to begin development on a Nissan unit. Right now
we have a couple of other projects going on but I am hoping that we will
have a kit for Nissan before the end of the year. If you and anyone else
from the forum would like to add their email addresses and car info to my
waiting list I will be happy to accommodate. The more names on the list,
the faster I may be able to move this along."

If you are interested, please email Jessie at jessie@diceelectronics.com and provide your vehicle information.

For more information regarding their products, checkout; http://www.dicelectronics.com

MODS-Can we look at adding this as a sticky?

Thanks!

Thanks! I have to give it to you guys, Jessie emailed me again today to tell me that he was impressed with the number of responses that he was getting from ORG members.. Keep them coming... Hopefully they'll realize how much of a market they are missing out on by not including the Nissan owners..

Found this on Ebay

I found this on ebay. I can't post a thread yet because I just found this site. But maybe someone can make a new thread with this ebay account and see if anyone has used it. It sounds promising but I don't know.

If this works please drop me an email: coryo44@hotmail.com

All-Here's an update from Dice Electronics regarding an Ipod integration kit for the Max.. Cross your fingers, I think we are close now..
Response from Dice:
"We did have a finished prototype of the Nissan kit that we showed at the CES trade show a couple of weeks ago. So at least the hard part is out of the way. J We are still sourcing parts and getting everything ordered so it may be as much as another month before we are actually ready to ship the kit. However I do still have your pre-order on file and I will be contacting you as soon as I have a beta unit I am able to send."

*Update*
Looks like Dice means business and really wants to provide an alternative to the Nissan OEM adapter..

Here's the latest:
"There are still a lot of unknowns about this kit but I will tell you what I can. At this point we are attempting to get this working with ALL Nissan and Infinity systems including the Bose system. We plan to have two modes, SAT mode and CD mode. Text will be displayed in SAT mode but factory satellite will have to be disconnected. If you use the kit in CD mode, then you can retain the SAT BUT we are not sure if we will be able to get text to display in CD mode or not.

Of course I can not guarentee that all or any of this will turn out the way we plan… J But right now that’s what the plan is."

Cross your fingers everyone..

No comments on price but their pricing is very much standard for all vehicles ($150-$170) which is not bad... Hopefully we'll know soon enough..
