lowering the max

lowering the max

hey i have an 07 max and i wanted to lower my car. i was wondering which lowering springs were best also with coilovers. Also i was wondering is it better to lower my car first or rims.

If you get coilovers, you don't need springs in the front because the coilovers come with them. Since we have independent rear suspension you may need 2 for the rear??? If so Eibach or Progress...

i need to drop my 06 max. i put 20's on it and now the front end is like an suv. any opinions on which brand to use when i drop it? and how far should i go?

just get some eibachs

Go Eibach, an it doesn't really matter if you lower the ride before or after the spring drop. I actually drop my ride after purchasing my 22s. So it's optional, either way you'll realize how much wheel well clearance that the maxima truly has. Intrax is a really good spring also, but becomes very soft once it settles, an if your suspension isn't upgraded properly will eat up the component rather quickly.

Got Eibachs on mine too. Fronts only. Taboo, but no problems yet.
