Place to drill thru firewall..

Hi everyone,
It's been asked a hundred times before, and at least once before by me. I just got my 12's back and im ready to put them in the max, but I can't find a single place to run the power cable thru the firewall. Can someone PLEASE provide me with a pic of where you're running your cable from INSIDE the car? - This would be most helpful. I've seen pics from the engine bay, but it doesn't help because i'm not going to drill from there!

Thanks!

Here is what i did:

I loosened (is that even a word) the top bolt holding the fender on, i did not take it off! see A. then i took a hanger and shoved it thru a small gap where the fender meats the body, see B. i removed the plastic piece shown in the second pic. to get the wire into the car i removed a plastic cap, see C. then i drilled a hole thur the metal between the dash and the rubber see d. once i drilled the whole i removed the kicker panel and ran the wire to the trunk.

for more refrence

I appreciate your advice and details pics, however i'd rather not do that.. The closing of the door over time (i'd imagine) will eat at the outer coating of the wire, eventually exposing and connecting it to the body of the car (aka ground) and causing sparks/fire/etc.

Anybody else?

Right behind the the drivers side wheel well is where I put mine. You can see the spot, however it's kind of tight getting a drill in there. I will take pics when I get home for you.

Well the only thing hitting the wire is the weather stripping and i figure it will takes years of that rubbing to wear down the coating on the wire. The wire looks a little jacked up at the contact point but its just the white lettering that is rubbing off.

It's ok, I appreciate your help but I don't know if i even have enough to run it around that area. Check 2-3 posts up, i'm gonna use his pics and drill a nice little hole on the drivers side

Thanks!

You'll have to get under the driver's side dash and look up high but here is the spot.

Thanks but it is dropped on Eibachs. I'll probably do black & chrome on my next set of wheels. Zinik has some that I really like.
