I have 07 maxima se and I just went by the Goodyear retailer and told them these RSA tires are crap. He called Goodyear and I had 4 new Goodyear Eagle F1 a/s tires on the car for $113.00. My car had 10,000 miles on it at that time. Pretty easy transaction and the f1's are hands down better than those RSA's. GOOD LUCK!

Well today hit the 11th week mark for me since I submitted the paperwork for having replaced the Eagle RSA's and a check for $911 was waiting for me in the mail. I have to admit, I was weary that that weren't going to send me anything at all but I was proven wrong. Just make sure you send a copy of the receipt from the tire shop explaining why the RSA's were replaced and wait 10-12 weeks.

You should be able to. I brought me 04 used and had to change the tires and I brought NEXAN tires at 180 apiece. I sent the letter in 3 months ago and sight unseen with the original receipt they paid for all 4 tires just this past Saturday evening.

time to wake up a sleeping thread...

I just got my tire recall check the other day.. actually only took me about 3 weeks to get it, and I got $1379.35

I had sent a few emails back and forth to Kim in their customer service dept, and she explained the steps I needed to take.. once I got my paperwork all set to go and sent it in it took about 3 weeks, and that's including almost a week of down time from christmas vacations.. I typed up a short letter explaining the situation, printed out pictures of all 4 of my tires, and made a copy of my invoice and highlighted the necessary information and sent that all in. pretty painless, really.. however I never expected to actually get anything from them..

I MIGHT actually use Goodyear again in the future now that they've taken care of me the way they did... Geico on the other hand, oh hell no!

I just bought my 2007 Max back in October with a very small amount of mileage and just recently noticed that the front drivers side RSA has some small cracking around the edge of the tire. This is around where the tread and side wall meet and it runs horizontal to the tread around the edges.

The other three tires actually look a little newer to me than this one but I was not sure if this recall is only for the earlier tires or if it will also work for me.

By the way I also have a light popping noise every time I start moving in drive and then I don't seem to hear it agian until the next time and i do have the stock 18" rims that came on the car. Just thought I would throw this in.

Thanks
CK
